Nasceu na Madeira em 1981. Licenciado em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade da Madeira em 2006. É Professor de Artes Visuais, exercendo actualmente funções de coordenação técnico-pedagógica no Museu de Arte Sacra do Funchal. Expõe de forma colectiva e individual desde 1999, no contexto regional, nacional e internacional.

Martinho was born in Madeira in 1981. He took his visual arts degree at the University of Madeira, in 2006. Martinho is a visual arts teacher, presently involved in the technical and pedagogical coordination of the Sacred Art Museum of Funchal.
